1. Personal Organization: Fives and Metafives

Within the Zero State Alternate Reality Game (ZSARG), a MetaFive is a network of people and groups in which a person is committed to relationships of formal, reciprocal support. The Social Futurist community as a whole is a network of such “micro-communities”, most of which only contain five individuals (and are thus called “Fives”), whereas the network laid out below is made up of small, highly connected groups within the ARG, rather than individuals.

It is my belief that if you have a large enough network of people and groups which can not only effectively share ideas and resources, but are also formally committed to helping each other in tangible ways, then extraordinary things are possible. This particular MetaFive forms the core of ZS, which is just one of many Social Futurist organizations.

It is important to note that every Social Futurist is free to organize and label their own “Five” or MetaFive (i.e. Five-of-Fives) in their own way, and this is mine, tailored to my own tastes and needs. So the terminology I use for my own purposes may not make a lot of sense to others, but that is not the point. The point is that this is a group of people and organizations that I am personally committed to directly developing and supporting, in accord with my own beliefs.

In the table below, each cell contains the website of a G3 Network affiliate, Group leader / contact / Core Role name1, House2 & MetaHouse2. You can contact the groups within each channel via that channel’s official email address, listed at the top of each column.

2. ZS Array Organizational Structure

The table below shows the early organizational structure of The Array, being the AI network which governs the late 21st Century Zero State. Aside from showing which Founders (labelled F01-F30) control which “Blocks” within the Array, the table also shows Dharma (Δ) – a kind of ZS reputation economy – currently accrued by each House and divided (according to the House’s own rules) among its twelve Founder-members.

[NOTE 14-01-18: The number of Array positions assigned to the control of each Founder is proportionate to the initial base established by that Founder. In most cases, each Founder controls their own slot, plus one more. Dharma accrued by each House starts at a default 100, and is the basis upon which all ZS resources and privileges will be assigned to Houses. Only three Houses (Adhar, Oneiros, Arrakis) have been granted Dharma for activity thus far. Initially, 100% of House Dharma is held by the acting House Leader / Contact, for in-House distribution as they see fit. To change in-House distribution values contact the Teacher.]

3. The Twelve Houses: Table of Concordance

The Zero State’s core organizational structure is an Array of Twelve Houses. The Houses started as small groups in the early 21st Century, and by the 2040s had grown into massive organizations, something like a cross between a clan or tribe and a corporation.

Please note that these are the 144 full, Founder roles of the Zero State (i.e. 60 “Core” roles, & 84 “Key” roles). Subsidiary (“subsid”) memberships do not appear on that table. Subsids are part of teams led by the full founder-members, so each cell in that table represents one full, founding member, plus any subsidiary members attached to them.

The table below gives the main roles, websites, and other correspondences associated with each House. Any text in light grey is a link to ZS resources, primarily in the ZS wiki, which is accessible to all ZS members. The House numbers (H01-H12) correspond with those in the table linked above.

1Each of the Houses was founded by twelve people, each of whom is in turn assigned to a role or persona. The first five such people in each House are known as the “Core Roles” (see https://sites.google.com/view/zero-state/directory/zs-org-structure), and the first two of those – i.e. the team leader and deputy leader – from each House are listed in the table above.

2The Zero State is organized around a system of twelve “Houses”, which are arranged in cooperative pairs known as “MetaHouses”, all of which are listed here with links to online resources: https://sites.google.com/view/zero-state/directory/metahouses
